He is passionate about entrepreneurship and developing financial inclusion in Pakistan. He aspires to provide equitable access to financial resources in the country helping small businesses grow and prosper.
He is a graduate of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and has a masters’ degree from the Schulich School of Business, York University. He is the co-founder and current Chief Product Officer at RetailPAY.

Worked as Lead - Digital Marketer in one of the leading e-commerce platform Tosharing.com (Miniso); later founded Sipsak Ventures (Pvt) Ltd as CEO based in Karachi with core expertise in the ability to support clients and partners in understanding, analyzing and executing commercial and investment strategies in fields of Online, Digital Marketing, App/Software Development and Fintech. Currently playing a key role in RetailPAY as Co-Founder and Head of Digital Strategy that also includes APP Development and Social Media.

A member of a 120 year old family distribution business (SMI) with prior experience as Assistant Vice President for Citigroup Global Consumer Bank having worked in UK, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
A graduate of London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) and an MBA from London Business School (LBS). During his tenure as Managing Director of SMI Group, he has personally served as a Distribution Partner for Pakistan Tobacco Company, Nimir Chemicals, Nestle, Metro C&C, Coca Cola, Nurpur (Fauji Foods) and Telenor in Pakistan. He also serves on the board of several other companies including one the largest fruit pulping plants in Pakistan and one of the fastest growing e-commerce companies in the region.

With over 18 years working experience in Banking Industry, he specializes in electronic & Retail Digital Payments. Previously, he was associated with Bank Alfalah and MCB Bank in leadership roles and rendered his expertise for Bank’s new initiatives, product development, acceptance, cards, POS, merchant acquiring and sales coaching of new inductions.

22+ years of international banking & financial services experience. Former Head of Cards & Payment at Al-Futtaim Group, and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (UAE), Citi Head of Retail Banking (Czech and Slovakia), Associate Managing Director with Verisk Analytics (USA), and currently working with fintech on cross border payment solutions and remittances. For the past 18 months, focusing on creating payment solutions that drives financial inclusion, helps provide affordable cross border payments, and creates interoperability of various financial services products
